  • Itan about Iwori and Idin being married. Iwori unable to satisfy Idin in bed. He consults Ifa and there is nothing physically wrong, he is malnourished. Idin admits to working and eating at work but not cooking once she gets home. She begins to cook. He has the energy to do all the things he needs to do at home. Iwori is now able to satisfy Idin. Kids are good. Everyone is happy. What is the wisdom in this Itan?

  • Itan - "There is no childbearing woman who cannot birth an Ifa Priest. There is no childbearing woman who cannot birth Orunmila. Our father, if he gives birth to us in full, inevitably we shall in time give birth to him in turn. Our mother, if she gives birth to us in full, inevitably we shall in time give birth to her in turn. These were Awos that divined for Orunmila when he wanted to bring Heaven to Earth and Earth to Heaven. He was advised to make an ebo in twos... male and female of each animal. He heeded the advice and completed the ebo. Thus Earth became fruitful and multiplied. What is the wisdom in this Itan?

  • Itan - There's this guard who consults Ifa to know if he will be prosperous. Ifa confirms yes but he needs to make ebo and remember to love himself above others. He listens. The town he worked in was having an Oro festival. While he was standing guard a woman comes to work the market. He warns her about the taboo of women at the festival. She stays at the gate with him then. For the next 7 days as men come and go, this woman is friendly and welcoming. She smiles at them and makes sure to give them something to eat. On the 8th day she is now able to go in town and have a successful day at the market. 2 days later people in town come looking for her. When they can't find her they go to the guard and ask for her. The guard is like she's gone. Everyone was shocked. They thought that was his wife. They had gifts they wanted to give her. The townspeople tell him that he should make sure his wife has the same character as this woman. They would've given her many gifts since she lived amongst them. What is the wisdom in this Itan?
