Itadogun July 1, 2025| Odi Ofun

Alaafia Everyone  - Here is the summary of the messages received for this Itadogun. For those that were not present, now that we are officially within the egbe with Irentegbe Temple, I will be casting our community divination on Isan (second Ose Ola/ Ose ifa after Itadogun).

Oluwo will be casting for Itadogun for both communities. Posts will still give you all the deets. Just wanted you all to be aware of the change.

So I will be casting on July 9th that morning since we have a full moon ritual that evening.

Aboru aboye abosise Irentegbe Temple and aborisha family. In today's Itadogun, Òdí-Ofun was revealed bringing with it the warning that death is near.

Verse 1:

Agúnla was an agent of Olodumaré. One day, he set out to purchase a slave from the marketplace. Amongst the slaves was a beautiful woman known as Osu (Moon). Agúnla consulted Ifá over whether or not he should buy her. The priest warned him not to buy her for she would come with a problem for him. Agúnla still insisted on buying her anyway. Soon after bringing Osù to his home in the Kingdom of Olodumaré, Agúnla began to see that his other wives were beginning to leave. They scattered far and wide and became the Stars. Before long, Osú had caused him to lose everything and had even taken his place in the night sky.

Agúnla, You were warned not to buy Osú but you did not heed the warning.

Verse 2:

A white cap is undesirable during the dry season cast Ifá for Àǹsẹ̀kẹ̀, The princess of all insects.

Àǹsẹ̀kẹ̀ was the most influential of all known insects. If one carefully examined her abdomen, one would see two rings of beads around her hips. They told her to take care of the ground and offer the two beads as sacrifice. She refused. She did not perform the sacrifice, it is only for old age that she made sacrifice. The other insects converged a meeting where they renounced her as their princess. Despite their revolt, she refused to subdue her gracefulness.

Àǹsẹ̀kẹ̀ lived long on the earth, but the rest of the insects stood their ground on renouncing her as their princess. She wore a tarnished crown and held on to a title no one recognized.

The evil of not making sacrifices,

The problem of not giving the prescribed offering to Èṣù.

Àǹsẹ̀kẹ̀, they warned you. You were the princess of all insects! Now you are just as lowly as all.
