About
Iyanifa Owinni Adina Durosinmi Fa Omi Sango
Hi - I'm Iya Owinni. I am an Iyanifa for the African American Diaspora. I specialize in helping Black people of the African American Diaspora cultivate a more aligned relationship with their Divine Self through the teachings of Ifa built on foundation of Self Love.
Embracing the wisdom of Ifa through Isese and practically applying the tradition to the Black Experience in America.

About Ifa
Ifa is the common term used for West African and Diaspora religions associated with the Orishas and the divination system known as Ifa. Ifa is the Wisdom of Nature. Isese Lagba, or Isese for short, is the Mother of the Orisha traditions found within the Diaspora. Isese isn't simply a tradition. It's tradition, religion, it's esoteric mysteries, it's metaphysical concepts, and spiritual science. It's culture. It's medicine. It's a lifestyle. It is how our ancestors related to the Most High/God(dess)/Olodumare within and around themselves.
When you begin to learn more about the religion, you learn that at the heart of it, Isese is a Self Love religion. Walking in our Iwa Pele is Self Love.
Book an Ifa Divination/Consultation
"God works in mysterious ways, until you Divine on it." - Iya Owinni
Divination is a conversation between you, the Diviner (Me), Orunmilla, and your Ori (God's Divine Spark in You). It let's you know where you are currently, where you may be headed, is it aligning you to good fortune or not, and next steps. These steps could be to ensure you stay on the right track or mitigate any undesirable outcomes. Click the button below and choose the type of session that works for you. If you don't see a spot that works for you, click the live chat. You can coordinate with me directly.

Being in the Midst of Ifa
Ways to be a Part of the Tradition in my Temple
01
To Ile Or Not to Ile
The Temple is the broader community. You can engage with the Temple and not be my godchild. An Ile is a house or spiritual family. It is a more personal, familia, connectio. Ile members have more direct connection to me as well as engagement in the tradition. Not everyone in my Ile is planning to initiate. They appreciate the medicine and wisdom of ifa and the direction of the Ile.
03
Group Learning and Events
There are opportunities to learn with the community, as well as various events. Some events are virtual, and then there are opportunities o come and join us in person. Make sure you are on the mailing list so you can stay in the know.
02
Ijosin, Itadogun, and Ose
Community prayer and divination are hallmarks of the tradition. For my lineage I hold a monthly Ijosin, Orisha worship service. This is open to the public. Ose is our daily veneration. I stream Ose Ola (Ose Ifa) via Zoom and TikTok. Prayer requests are taken via Zoom. Every 17 days is Itadogun, our community divination. We begin with veneration and then hear the Wisdom of Ifa for the next 17 days. Community offerings are given based on the divination. This is hosted via zoom.
04
Ceremonies and Ritual
It may come up in divination that you need to undergo a specific ceremony or receive a shrine. You may feel like full initiation is for you. You may simply need Hand of Ifa. In most cases Divination is required in order to move forward. Ceremony season for my community is May generally.
