Alaafia! I have been doing a daily wisdom of Ifa to see how to best move in alignment with my good condition on a daily basis. I have periodically shared these on live, and now I want to bring the wisdom here for those who may not be able to join me on live.
Today Ifa spoke to me through the Holy Odu EjiOgbe! Ase!
EjiOgbe speaks on many things including: alignment with destiny, leadership, humility, temperance, observing ose and annual festivals, etc.
When I saw EjiOgbe, I immediately thought of the fortunate man.
The Fortunate Man was leaving Heaven to come to Earth. He wanted to have a good life on Earth with many blessings, including a good spouse, children, prosperity, and long life. However, it was well known that the divinity at the gate of Heaven would only approve one blessing. The Fortunate Man consulted Ifa to know if he would successfully have all the blessings he desired. Ifa said he would but he needed to give an ebo. After giving his offering he needed to take several food items with him to the divinity at the gate.
The Fortunate Man complied.
As he was heading to the gate, Obatala was hungry. When the Fortunate Man got to the gate, Obatala asked why he was there. The Fortunate Man advised he had something for Obatala and took out the food. Obatala, being hungry, accepted. While the he was eating, the Fortunate Man told Obatala he was headed to Earth and wanted spouse, kids, prosperity, and long life. Obatala said ok and the fortunate left to enjoy his good life.
When Obatala finished eating he saw that four blessings had been ratified. He asked who got four blessings, the scribes said it was the Fortunate Man.
Thoughts
What have you not asked for because everyone told you that it would be impossible for you to get?
Are you asking for just one thing because you don't want to be a burden?
Why haven't you simply called in what you desire to see in your physical reality?
How does it feel when you call in all of your good fortune?
Here in the States, we have been socialized to not ask for "too much". My question for you is what is too much? By whose standards are you measuring? When space is a human concept, what is size in the realm of the Divine?
Today, I hope you'll join me in aligning to the energy of the Fortunate Man.
As Iyanifa Ewa says, "Our blessing is already here."
If you have questions about how to align to your own good condition feel free to schedule an Ifa divination with me.
