Ifa revealed for us the Holy Odu - Oyeku Okanran. Ire coming to us through EjiOgbe.
This is our first Itadogun with carrying our Odu as the name of our Temple. There is growth and healing with this change and it shows in our Odu, as well as the Odu showcasing it being in Ire.
This Itadogun, the ebo being given is actually for the Elders. I will not be presenting a community ebo this cycle. The Community is giving ebo to the Elders.
Sister Temple Odu Ose Tura - The Breath of Ifa
Oluwo Baba Suruu Ifaneye (Formerly Baba Teju) cast the Itadogun for the Egbe (Community) for which we are a part of. The Odu I cast will be the more prevalent energy, however this one will also be present for us as well. There is significant overlap in the messages.
Quote - "In order for the house cat to become a lion it must lose its appetite for mice"
This current cycle came up in Osogbo (off path) though it was super slight.
Ire of wealth and children (or new projects, etc.)
Time that we are planting, putting into action - soil is rich and ready. Setting things in motion so that we can see them grow.
It is something (or somethings) specific that is time for planting so that we can see it bear fruit
Be discerning on what we put in motion.
We don't know who walked this path before us. We don't know who we are approaching. May encounter a friend, enemy, or adversary. We don't know their intentions.
As long as we live we are going to encounter some sort of discomfort. It is the obstacles we face that encourage us to overcome. Times of triumph come after opposition.
Ifa is saying we need to push forward. Now is the time to take full advantage of fertile ground.Investing in yourself
Dream and think bigger
a need to not be complacent - meager can no longer satiate you
Be positive, watch our words
Respect elders, especially women
Pray to Ori every morning
Don't disrespect/discredit anyone that is part of the whole
Do not make ourselves sacrifices for our work
Consult Ifa and appease Iyaami before any trips
Give offerings to Ori regularly
Contribute to community offerings to see wealth and abundance
Itans
Verse 1:
The Awos divined Ifá for the irunmolé on the right and the irunmolé on the left when they were coming from heaven to the Earth.
Orunmila had called for them. Olodumaré sent 16 male irunmolé and one female irunmolé, Oshun, making 17 in order to reform the Earth. When they consulted Ifá, They asked if they would succeed on the earth and they were told not to betray one another. When they got to the Earth, they did not invite Oshun into all they were doing.
Oshun consulted Ifá in order to not be left behind. She was advised to offer ebo and told to appease her Ori Inu regularly. She complied and was told They all would come to beg her.
The 16 male irunmolé started having problems. All they did began to fail. They went back to God to know what had gone wrong. Olodumaré saw that there was no female among them. They were asked where she was and they said they had ignored her. Olodumaré commanded them to pay attention to her so that their efforts could be successful. She had been placed among them because of the importance of women.
When they returned to the Earth, they went to Oshun to ask her to be part of the project given to them by Olodumaré. She told them that the project failed because they did not call her and so they should continue doing it alone. They begged her and pleaded for her return until she agreed. They started doing the work together and things began to go well. Everything they did worked out. It was exactly as the priests had said. They danced and rejoiced. They praised the priests and the priests praised Ifá.
Verse 2:
The Babalawos cast Ifá for Orunmila when he was going to Ilawé on a divination assignment.
He consulted Ifá to know if he could be successful in Ilawé. He was advised to offer ebo before going because there were many witches there. Also a lot of abnormalities were caused by people close to them. Orunmila was told to sacrifice so that he would not reform the town with his own life, his wives, or his children's lives.
The king of Ilawé was so happy when he saw Orunmila coming. Orunmila Entered with a song saying that he was carrying a bottle of palm oil and the people of Ilawé should please not make his bottle of palm oil to break.
He consulted Ifá for them in Ilawé and make akosé for them and the town saw peace. The witches accepted Orunmila's propriations. When Orumila was leaving, he sang to thank them. He said he was thankful to them because the palm oil he carried did not break. They also promised him that they would no longer destroy the town.
Orunmila danced and rejoiced. He praised his Awo and the Awo praised Ifá while Ifá praised God.

Itan 1 - Orunmilla consulted Ifa on how he could be prosperous. He wa advised to give ebo, but we was not to be the one who gives it. Ifa advised him to get his top apprentice to present the ebo. Orunmilla reaches out to his Akapo. He lets Akapo know what the ebo materials are. Akapo hunts down a beautiful stag. Akapo gives each part of the stag in the ebo. For each part of the ebo given, not only is Orunmilla blessed, Akapo also receives a blessing.
What do you hear this Itan saying to you? What is it saying to the community at large?
Itan 2 - Divination is done for Irawo (the star) who was Olodumare's slave. It was predicted that if Irawo failed to follow Oluwa's way, his fame would be banished. Ebo should be offered, but Irawo refused. Whenever Olodumare would reflect on the pride of star, we would see a falling star.

Itan - Oyeku and Eleekan consulted Ifa to know if they would have a safe trip. They were advised to give ebo and not to quarrel. The both of them were close and said they would never fight. The two of them go on their trip and begin farming when they get there. After a year there was a harvest that caused a fight among them. The fight resulted in Oyeku killing Elekan. The death caused a scandal.
