Greetings Everyone!

We are honored to have gathered in Fellowship to venerate the Orisha and receive the Wisdom of Ifa on today


Ifa spoke to Temple Otuurupon Gunda and Irentegbe Temple through the Holy Odu Oyeku Osa. We are STILL not engaging in anything that tries to take us out of our peace. With the fans out, we are minding our business and staying calm and cool.


"The odù Ifá Oyeku Osa reminds us that walking in the light is an active process. Positivity doesn't just "happen," we have to work at it! :: Today and every day, let us choose to turn toward the light even as darkness attempts to close in."


Before I go into the Odu - a suggested advisory. This is not directly from the Odu but did show up before casting. Wear white for 9 days. I heard it this morning. Initially as a form of Ancestor Veneration, but after seeing the Odu, it feels like a way to protect our energy.


Oyeku Osa - Irentegbe Temple & Temple Otuurupon Gunda

Alaafia and Ogbo Ato Asure Iwori Wofun to you all. Oyeku Osa came to us in Ire via Oyeku Owonrin. The primary form of good fortune is protection during travel.


Verse 1:


Divination was done for Onitede and Onitayo. The were both hunters, though Onitede was more popular than Onitayo. One day, Onitayo shot an elephant. The elephant was dragged back to the farm which was at the boundary between the two of them.

While Onitayo was tracing it, Onitede went and reported the kill to the King. Once Onitayo finished tracing it, he also went to report it to the king. The king set emissaries to go with them both. Upon arriving they realized it was the same elephant. The King thus advised them both to come to the palace the next night.

Onitayo consulted Ifa and was told to give an ebo of 7 Roosters and one thousand cowries.

At the palace the next night both hunters spoke. When someone was going to respond, the rooster flew in and shouted, "Onitayo killed the elephant! Onitayo killed the elephant! Onitayo killed the elephant!"

The whole palace was silent. The king asked others to respond and they all deferred to the King.

The king tried to speak again but the rooster shouted again, "Onitayo killed the elephant!"

The King said that the issue had been judged by heavenly beings. It is Onitayo that killed the elephant.

Onitayo was happy.

Verse 2:


An elephant died at Olijede's farm, but its tail came to rest in Onitayo's farm. The inhabitants of Onitiyo town said the elephant belonged to them. The inhabitants of Olijede town said the elephant was theirs. The elephant died at two farms symbolized war. They were advised to give an ebo because they would fight over something.

One he-goat and 12,000 cowries should be given.

After 3 months they performed the ebo which was ignored.

The elephant had decayed.

Esu then divided the ivory between th two and advised them to stop fighting.
