Aiye Ase Energy Healing is an African-centered energy healing system created by Iyanifa Owinni that combines the wisdom of Ifa, the understanding of Ase (life force energy), divination, energetic assessment, prayer, sound, movement, and spiritual restoration practices to support healing on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. The word Aiye refers to the Earth and the realm of human experience. Ase refers to the divine life force that animates all things and allows transformation to occur. Aiye Ase Energy Healing is designed to support the restoration of balance where energy has become stagnant, depleted, blocked, fragmented, or misaligned. This work may support: • Stress reduction • Emotional healing • Spiritual alignment • Energetic restoration • Grief support • Personal transformation • Mental clarity • Improved relaxation • Spiritual maintenance • Recovery from emotionally challenging experiences • Increased connection to self and purpose • General well-being and energetic balance Unlike traditional Reiki sessions, Aiye Ase Energy Healing begins with divination. Divination helps identify the areas requiring attention and provides guidance regarding the most aligned approach for the session. This creates a focused and intentional healing experience tailored to the individual rather than applying a single approach to every client. During a session, various techniques may be incorporated, including: • Divination • Pendulum assessment of energy centers • Prayer • Chanting and sacred song • Sound healing • Drumming • Sekere • Feather work • Fan work • Spiritual cleansing techniques • Crystal support • Hands-on or hands-off energy work • Guided energetic release Sessions may be conducted in person or at a distance. Clients may experience emotional, physical, spiritual, or energetic release during a session. Crying, laughter, memories, insights, bodily sensations, emotional shifts, spontaneous prayer, movement, or periods of deep relaxation are all normal responses to energy work. At times, intuitive messages, spiritual insights, or observations may arise during the healing process. These messages are shared only when appropriate and intended to support the client's healing and growth. The practitioner serves as a facilitator and conduit, supporting the movement and restoration of energy through alignment with Ase, the wisdom of Ifa, and the natural healing intelligence already present within the client.
