When #hillmantok was emerging the immediate download was, "Black Spirituality 101". I was waiting for it though. It shouted. And so I made that post and it got more than one comment so I said why not. Why not me right?
As a kid I wanted to be 4 things. The most powerful witch, a teacher, a doctor, and a singer. As a teen I wanted to go to Hillman.
When you walk in alignment with who you are you learn that you have always known who you are. How it was illustrated in your youth may have a child like expression, it's still the legacy though.
I was living at least 3 of those noticeably. I'm only now realizing how the singer has manifested. How every 4 days I sing live for an audience. 🥹😭 How I get asked to sing Oríkì because people like to listen to be sing. Now with this amazing gathering of community, but only am I living my fantasy of going to Hillman, I'm THE Professor of Black Spirituality 101. AND I got like students. It's like 20+ folks actively enrolled.🤯😳 This don't even count my God children I told to get their syllabus 🤣😂😅
Thank Ifa! Thank Olódùmarè 🤍🤍 Thank my beautiful Orí 😍 Thank my Ègún ❤️ Thank Òrìsà 😁 When you Cultivate a life of Self Love 💖💞 that is harnessed through your religious and spiritual practice, this is what can happen.
I'm so grateful 🙏🏾
