Honoring Our Lineage

Black History Month is one of those times in the year where Black People in the African American Diaspora are collectively venerating the Ancestors, whether it is consciously or not. They are calling names, telling stories, and learning about the people whose shoulders we are elevated on today. It's beautiful.

This event is intentional. Intentional Conscious Veneration. It is purposefully acknowledging the Ancestors whose names are not known that are also hoisting us up on their shoulders. This is for all of them. Let us be thankful and elevate them as well.
