The World’s largest Ancestral Veneration celebration is the one that kicks off the World Ifa Festival in June. Opening up with paying homage to the ancestors that paved the way for us and our traditions. Within the Western World, the celebration most widely recognized for the Ancestors occurs when the veil is thinnest (between Scorpio and Sagittarius season). Dia De Los Muertos has been a time honored tradition and time to not only remember the ancestors but elevate them as well. Though not an Ifa practice itself, the essence of Ancestor veneration is not limited to only one religion or lineage.
