Why this experience? Because our Rites of Passage were stolen from us through colonization and slavery. I intend to return them back. Not exactly as they were when our Ancestors performed them. They are inspired by those sacred rituals. Intended to guide us through the thresholds of life at key moments of growth and transformation, rites of passage create: continuity awareness understanding sacredness and embodiment for the one undergoing the ritual. This is not a finishing school where young women learn ettiquette and how to be delicate. Here the young woman that enters the program emerges with a: relationship with self relationship with body relationship with spirit relationship with lineage This program is for young girls and women 10 - 25. Those under 18, parents are not only encouraged to - be present in class, you are encouraged to receive counsel to help be the best guides and support for your child on their journey. You can also add on a personal divination to compliment her Rite of Passage (additional donation) Class are virtually and in person We will meet weekly on Sundays live with a follow up assignment to ensure understanding and integration of what is being taught There will be 2 special sessions for the 18 - 25 year olds on topics for that age group The Rite of Passage will be held on the last session.
