Service Description
We hold many names in our lives. We have the name we are given at birth. We have nicknames. Names that include titles. Married names. We also have names reflective of our spiritual walk. This naming ceremony is liken to the one you would have received as a baby. This name is the name chose by your Ori and reveals aspects of your destiny.
Like our African American tradition of giving names from the Bible or some other Scripture, the name chosen by your Ori will be found within the Itans (stories) of the Holy Odu.
This ritual is specifically for those who have undergone Isefa within my lineage. If you have not, please refer to your Elder on practices for your lineage.
