Ancestor Veneration Events @Everyone We kick off Ancestor Veneration week with @Oba Serare hosting Oya's Feast Day Sunday 10/27 with our sister temple Irentegbe. Come prepared with your offerings and wearing Oya's colors. Check out the Ancestor Veneration Celebration pdf in the "files" tab in our group, it outlines all of the materials needed for the activities we'll be taking part in as a temple and on our own over the course of the week.
Saturday 11/2 at 4pm we'll close out the week with another group gathering where we'll mediate, channel and celebrate our ancestors. Be on the lookout for updated calendar invites with zoom links soon.
Itadogun and Iyaami Advisory
Itadogun ebo will be performed Tuesday 10/29 a calendar invite will be sent soon. The Iyaami gave a message this past Tuesday regarding adornments. Anyone who participates in the monthly Iyaami Rituals should do the following:
Wear an african red parrot feather to the rituals going forward
2. Adorn your middle, ring and thumb fingers regularly; this can be henna, nail designs specific to those fingers, rings etc.
3. Awos - wear the feather associated with your Iyaami during all rituals Iya will give us all more in depth guidance on this soon.
