Touches on receiving your name after receiving Hand of Ifa

Story from Baba

Orunmilla named one of his sons Ikulapa, which means "Death cannot kill m Death heard neighbors of Orunmilla saw Death coming through the village. Death heard Orunmilla call out for the boy and was intrigued. He wanted to know who this person is that cannot kill. He was coming back to find the boy so he could kill him. Orunmilla went to cast Ifa and save the life of his son. He was told the boy needed Hand of Ifa and change his name. The next day Day returned and called out for Ikulapa and no one answered. He called again. No one answered. He went to Orunmilla and said he was looking for the one called "Death cannot kill me." Orunmilla said there was no one here by that name. Death waited until he got tired and returned to Orun (Heaven). The boys former was true. Death could not kill him and death did not that day.

Understand the power of your name. Naming ceremony for Hand of Ifa recipients. This is going to happen in May for those that have their Hand of Ifa so that it can be done in person. For any children (under 18) we can do this virtually. I will let you know what the ceremony is going to cost and what things you need in order for us to do it virtually. More to come on this.

Alexis - "Take it slow. Whatever ideas have been brewing and you're weighing on plans, tune in to your intuition. Your intuition will let you know where to go. The sign on where to go is going to be really clear. Take your time. It's coming soon. It's time to up level. Sit with the work you've done. Integrate it. It's time.

Story Time with Baba - Awo divined for Orunmilla for lack of a wife. Awo divined for Ajibola for lack of a home. Awo told Orunimlla to offer sacrifice. Awo told Ajibola to do the same ebo. The ebo included beaded bangles that they were to wear.

Ajibola was told to marry someone that tied beaded bangles. Ther she would have a good home. At the time there's a party in the market. Lots of people. Everyone dancing. Ajibola is searching for the man with the bangle. She raised her hands and began to sing out for attention. Orunmilla heard and raised his hands and began to sing as well. "I raise my hands and raise my beaded wrists."

Ajibola sees him and is happy.

They dance until they see each other. They discussed and married there after. Ajibola said her previous husbands usually died and that's why she went to Ifa for a home. After 4 years Orunmilla did not die.

Ajibola had a good home. She had a husband. She sang the praises to the Awos and Ifa.
