Alaafia @Everyone I'll tell my story I'm the comments. Lol
Eku ojo Ose Ogun Irentegbe Temple and Aborisha family. I greet you all on the day of Ogun and Ochosi.
So I got up this morning and decided I would get some exercise in. Do a little something to take care of my body. My intent was to go for a good brisk walk and come home to venerate Ogun afterwards. Apparently, the Orisha of work had different plans. He was going to get his veneration!
As I got into the car and prepared to drive over to the walking trail, I noticed there was some yard work that had gotten a little out of hand. Had some bushes that had overgrown that I could see from the backyard. I've been looking at it for a couple of weeks and had done nothing about it so, the drive hit me to get to work.
When we do work with our hands, when we create, and when we complete a project, we are venerating Ogun. When we see a project through to completion, we honor this Divine energy.
How will you generate today?
Asé asé asé o.
I went to work on my day off to see adorable faces in costumes and ended up getting a mani/ pedi. The whole time I was in the chair getting my feet done all I could say in my head was this is for all the mothers that didn’t her get self care on cause life was abusing her, then I said it out loud and that felt good, like a release and a relief ☺️☺️☺️💜🩵💙🥹🥹🥹❕
