A Weekend Cultivating Reverence and Gratitude

As we move into the season of thankfulness and gratitude, it is incumbent upon us as melanated beings to give gratitude to those that came before us. This weekend allow me to show you what community veneration can be like here in the Diaspora. We'll begin with a panel discussion on what ancestral veneration is and is not from those that practice. The women will join together later that evening to honor our ancestral mothers and speak love over each other in divine sisterhood. The weekend will culminate Sunday morning with a community offering to our ancestors, sharing love, memories, hopes and dreams. We are our ancestors wildest dreams! Come join us.
